Annual Progress Report

2024-2025 Annual Progress Report

The Iowa Department of Education releases the APRs annually to provide an overview of how schools are performing in the state. The reports include:

  • Student achievement data
  • Academic goals
  • Other success indicators
  • Scores and ratings on accountability measures, such as student growth and graduation rate
  • Information about schools that need additional support and improvement

The APRs are based on data from the Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP) and the Conditions for Learning survey.

The APRs help meet federal and state requirements for publishing report cards. They also show how schools are performing on multiple measures.

The rating categories for school performance include:

  • Exceptional
  • High Performing
  • Commendable
  • Acceptable
  • Needs Improvement
  • Priority

My favorite thing about United is the amazing people that are in it. It is not a big school so you can get to know everybody! There are nice kids to get to know, and there are amazing teachers! I love everything about this school, and I have since preschool!
