Childcare Provided by YSS

We are excited to share that before/after school and summer childcare options are available for United families on-site through an independent program operated by YSS, a social services organization based in Ames. YSS runs its Kid’s Club program, which is hosted in various area schools and is fully licensed by DHS.
At Kid’s Club, your child will enjoy engaging activities, time to interact with peers through center play, outdoor play, and a provided snack. This program offers a fun and supportive environment for children to thrive.

Below, you’ll find the registration packet for the upcoming school year. Please note: completing a registration form does not guarantee a spot, as enrollment is handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Once your completed form is emailed to kcunited@yss.org, you will receive an update on your enrollment status within 48 hours.
Kid’s Club also operates on a sliding fee scale, making it a cost-effective childcare option for many families. You’ll find the fee scale for the school year included below.
